The sweetness of the vinocotto and fig pairs beautifully with the saltiness of the jamon and cheese in this simple dish - perfect for breakfast, lunch or appetisers
Caramelised onions (see recipe for sticky caramelized onions)
Quarter figs and drizzle with vinocotto – grill until caramelized to desired level.
Prepare the bread by cutting in thick slices, drizzling with olive oil and grilling until golden.
Top the bread with the onions, figs, jamon and goats cheese to desired ratio.
